Always use a bow press to install the “LOC-A-PEEP”
Not using a bowpress or some type of tension reduction device can damage the bowstring.
- Put the bow in a bow press or other tension reduction device and compress bow.
- Separate Bowstring so that an even number of strands are on both sides. Twisting the bowstring about 4 to 7 times will improve the fit through the string channels.
- Install part #2 (Body) between the separated strands so that the strands run through the string channels.
- Install Part #1 (Cover) over part #2 (Body) and the bowstring.
- Squeeze the two parts together with finger pressure and move both parts up and down the bowstring to make sure that the bowstring strands are in the string channels.
- Insert the two screws and start tightening the two parts together.
- Before tightening the screws all the way make sure that the peep sight is in the proper shooting position for the archer.
- Tighten the screws. Not Over Tighten the screws. Only a 1/8 turn past bottom is required. Over tightening will damage the body and the threads.
- Install the tubing to the extrusion of the back of part #2 and attach to cable using a larks head knot. (If applicable).
- To adjust position of the peep after installation, Loosening both screws ¼ to ½ turn, will allow the installer to adjust the position of the peep up and down the bowstring. Retighten after adjustment.
